Is Papyrio free to use?
Yes. Every tool is free with no watermarks and no signup required. Free users can run 3 conversions per day. The Pro plan removes that limit and raises the file size cap to 200 MB.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed for free conversions. Create one if you want to track your usage or upgrade to Pro.
What is the file size limit?
Free users can upload files up to 50 MB. Pro users can upload files up to 200 MB.
How many conversions can I do per day?
Free users get 3 conversions per day. Pro users get unlimited conversions.
What happens to my files after conversion?
Nothing — we don't store them. Your files are processed in memory on our server and discarded immediately after the converted file is returned to your browser. We never read, index, or share your documents.
Are my files secure?
All transfers happen over HTTPS. Files are never written to disk and are not retained after conversion. We do not send your files to any third-party APIs — all processing runs on our own server using open-source tools.
What file formats does Papyrio support?
Input formats include DOCX, DOC, ODT, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, JPG, PNG, WEBP, and HTML. Output formats include PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, JPG, and plain text. Some tools also work with existing PDFs for tasks like compressing, merging, splitting, rotating, and adding watermarks.
How does the Pro plan work?
Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription billed via Stripe. It gives you unlimited daily conversions, a 200 MB file size limit, and access to all 22 tools. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Go to your Dashboard, click Manage, and cancel from the Stripe billing portal. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Does Papyrio use cookies?
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Clerk sets a session cookie when you're signed in. We also store your language preference in a cookie so the site remembers which language you last used.
