1. 3 November 2026

   A new look, and every tool in reach

   • The site has a new paper-and-ink design, in light and dark.
   • Open the Tools menu from any page, or press / to search all 32 tools.
   • Drop a file on the homepage, pick a tool, and the file opens there already loaded. Try it
   • Each tool page shows a short animation of what the tool does.
2. 1 November 2026

   Edit the text already in your PDF

   • Edit PDF can change or remove existing text in its original font, size and colour. Try it
   • The editor handles multi-page files, zoom, whiteout and highlight. Try it
   • Redact PDF now also clears the file's metadata, so the author and title go too. Try it
   • OCR takes up to 15 pages per file and tells you clearly when a file is longer. Try it

   Sharper OCR in 7 languages

   • OCR now reads English, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Uzbek (Latin and Cyrillic) and Kazakh. Try it
   • Searchable PDFs stay about the same size as the scan you upload. Try it

   Use Papyrio from Claude, Cursor and VS Code

   • Install the Papyrio MCP server and ask your assistant to compress, merge or convert files on your computer. Try it
   • The REST API has a free plan with 50 requests a month. Try it
