Frequently asked questions
Can I customise the watermark text?
Enter any text up to 60 characters. Common choices: CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, DO NOT COPY, your name, or your company. Leave it blank and it defaults to CONFIDENTIAL.
What does the watermark look like?
A diagonal semi-transparent grey stamp centred on each page, scaled proportionally to the page size. Large enough to be visible without obscuring the content underneath.
Is the watermark permanent?
The text is embedded directly into the page content using PyMuPDF. Standard PDF readers can't remove it through normal controls.
Can I change the color, font, or position?
Not currently. The stamp is grey, diagonal, and centred. Custom styling is on our roadmap.
Can I add an image or logo watermark instead of text?
Text-only for now. Image watermarks are on our roadmap.
Do I need to sign up?
No account required. Guests get one watermark per day; free accounts get 10.
Is there a file size limit?
50 MB per file.
Is my file safe?
Your file is processed in memory and deleted the moment your download starts. Nothing is stored.
